Driver Identified in DeKalb County Crash (VIDEO)

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A crash in DeKalb county backed up traffic near the 335 mile marker on I-69 southbound lane around 3:00 p.m. Saturday. According to police, the car rolled over with at least one person injured.

Indiana State Police and DeKalb County Police diverted traffic in the passing lane to allow cars to continue moving through the area.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 32-year-old Veronica Ramirez of Wabash who sustained a knee injury during the rollover. Thirty-one year-old Alyssa Sapienza of Wabash was a passenger in Ramirez's car and sustained a head injury.

State police want to remind everyone that is traveling this holiday weekend to drive smart and safe.
