FORTY WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) -- The countdown for year 2014 is on.
New Years Eve is just a few days away, and Fort Wayne has many parties and events the public can attend.

The Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana is hosting a masquerade ball at the Grand Wayne Center, which is just one of a few different ways to celebrate the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014.

This will be the second year for YLNI to be hosting their masquerade ball downtown. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $45 for non-YLNI members, and $40 for YLNI members, which can be purchased at www.ylni.org.

For anyone attending the party, there will be a champagne toast at midnight, and plenty of music and dancing to follow.

"It is the premiere social event for all of YLNI so we have a network of about a thousand, some are members some aren't, but it's a great opportunity for everyone to come together on New Years Eve, it's a huge event, a lot of glitter, a lot of sparkles, just a lot of fun. Cash bars, Great Gatsby themed, so it's going to be big and awesome, and right in downtown Fort Wayne," Masquerade Ball Co-Chair Lindsey Best said.

Along with the masquerade ball downtown, the public is welcome to attend a masquerade ball at the Memorial Coliseum.

This event is featuring dinner and live entertainment from Urban Legend. Tickets for this event are $57 and must be purchased at the Coliseum beforehand.
