Allen County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - As you drive along I-69, you may notice that IN-DOT crews are starting to change the signs to reflect the new mile marker and exit numbers to accommodate the road extension happening in the southern half of the state.

Crews have already changed signs at I-469, and are working their way along the southbound lanes of I-69 to change signs like the one at Coldwater Road.

All exits and mile markers will have 200-added to them, so the Coldwater Road exits, for example, now says Exit 312 instead of 112.

The changes are necessary because I-69 has been extended for about 200-miles in southern Indiana.
