Pregnant Woman Dies In Indianapolis Fire (VIDEO)

INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) -- A pregnant mom is dead and two others are injured after a fire on the near-west side of Indianapolis by Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Emergency personnel responded to the fire around 4 a.m.. According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, two men were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in serious condition and one woman was found dead inside the home.

A friend of the victim, who has yet to be identified, told RTV6 that the woman was 5 months into a pregnancy.

Investigators are saying the likely cause of the accident was a grease fire.
