WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.incnow.tv) Another big case on the court’s docket, pay for delay deals between big pharmaceutical companies and generic drug competitors.

Federal regulators are pressing the high court to stop big pharmaceutical companies from paying generic drug competitors to delay their releases of cheaper versions of brand name drugs.

The Obama administration says the so-called pay for delay deals profit the drug companies while harming consumers by denying them price declines and instead adds 3.5 billion dollars annually to their drug bills.
