FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The former head of the Maysville Sewer and Water District has pleaded guilty to felony corrupt business influence.

64 year old James Perrin of Harlan admitted he routed wastewater around a meter, meaning Fort Wayne City Utilities did not collect tens of thousands of dollars in payments over three years.

The plea deal calls for a charge of theft to be dropped.

He's set to be sentenced in February.
