FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The doctors, nurses and staff at Parkview’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit reunited with families who spent ample there.

Some believe special bonds are formed in the face of adversity and those bonds become stronger over time. If you have ever had a sick newborn, you know how important it is to have someone one you can lean on.

On Saturday the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Parkview Hospital held their annual reunion. More than 500 families attended, to reconnect and catch up with the staff at the hospital who helped them through the troubling times.

The Parkview NICU treats about 400 babies each year.
