"Operation Breakfast Club" Nabs 30 In Huntington Drug Investigation

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (21Alive) -- They are calling it "Operation Breakfast Club". Huntington police made a big announcement Tuesday morning that 28 people had been arrested for drug-related crimes following a 15-month long investigation.

Officials at the Huntington County Sheriff's Department told 21Alive that the drug team has been investigating the drug trade for more than a year in Huntington and Wells Counties.

At 4 a.m. Tuesday, warrants were served to 28 suspects. The drugs involved include cocaine, heroin, pot and prescription drugs.

Joseph Engleman, who had yet to be apprehended at the time of the press conference, turned himself in Tuesday night.

Andrea Haupert was arrested Wednesday night after being found at a Huntington County home.

Bradley Niemann is still at-largeand wanted in connection with the case.
