One Person Dies In Marion House Fire (VIDEO)

MARION, Ind. (21Alive) – A house fire in Marion leaves one person dead.

Marion Police responded to home in the 500 block of East Sherman Street around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Police say four people had escaped the home, but indicated one person may have still been inside.

Heavy smoke prevented officers from entering the house.

Once fire crews arrived, they entered the home and found one person dead.

There’s no word on what caused the fire, that’s under investigation.
