Dupont Bar Shooting Victim Identified (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- One man was shot and killed outside a north side bar following an altercation that started inside the bar.

An autopsy determined the victim as Damian J. Miller II, 32, of Fort Wayne.

The Allen County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene around 3:49 a.m. Sunday at the Dupont Bar & Grill located at 10336 N. Clinton Street. Upon arriving, the officers found a man outside the bar on the front sidewalk suffering from gun shot wounds. The man was pronounced dead by medics at the scene.

After speaking with witnesses, the officers determined the shooting happened after two men got into an altercation inside the bar. The altercation continued outside where one man shot the other.

Police are continuing to interview witnesses to determine what exactly led up to the altercation and shooting.
