FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Fort Wayne Community celebrates Miami Heritage Days.
People headed out to the Chief Richardville House Saturday afternoon to learn a little bit about the weapons that Miami Indians used like bow and arrows and arrow heads.
Each month the History Center sponsors a day where local artists, performers, and representatives from the Miami Indians, and other Native American groups, demonstrate different aspects of their lasting heritage for the public to enjoy.
People learned how the Miami Indians made their weapons from wood and other tools. The next demonstration is on Aug. 3 featuring Miami beadwork.
