FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Home school students will now have more learning opportunities.

Science Central and the McMillen Center for Health Education have partnered to assist home school students with supplemental educational opportunities for the 2013-14 school year.

Science Central has hosted “Afternoon Science” for home school students for many years, and McMillen Health Center provides education related to health topics.

McMillen will now offer “Morning Health” on the same days that Science Central holds their "Afternoon Science.”

Officials for both parties say working together made sense to give home schoolers a complete day of learning.

The first joint day of classes was Tuesday, Oct. 8.
