Pro-Life Advocates March Through Downtown In March For Life

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Area citizens gathered for a rally at the annual March for Life through downtown Fort Wayne.

Saturday was the 40th Annual March and marks the 41st Anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in 1973.

The rally's keynote speaker was Angela Minter, Executive Director of Sisters for Life, a Kentucky-based non-profit organization.

Other participants included Cathie Humbarger, event organizer and executive director of Allen County Right to Life, and representatives from "Silent No More."

The rally began at the University of Saint Francis’ Performing Arts Center before the March for Life concluded at the federal building with testimonies from the Silent No More awareness campaign.
