BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (21Alive) – Amateur divers stumble upon a body in the Saint Joseph River.

The body of Dewayne Flowers, 34, was first found by the Mud Diving Club around noon Saturday.

The discovery was made at Fishermans Park in Benton Harbor, Mich.

Using a camera, the divers videotaped what they saw, and handed the video over to authorities.

Police say there were no apparent signs of injury, but they are still investigating. Authorities are not sure how long flowers had been in the water. His family says they last saw him on Nov. 10.
