Man Cooks 19 One Pot Meth Labs With Three-Year-Old Nearby

WARSAW, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Kosciusko County Drug Task Force arrested two men on Friday on drug related charges.

63-year-old Eddie Harmon of South Bend was arrested after officers allegedly purchased cocaine from him near Rarick Park in Warsaw. Harmon is charged with one count of dealing cocaine and one count of possession of cocaine within 1000 feet of a public park. His bond was set at $45,000.

36-year-old Shawn P. Gatke was arrested after an anonymous tip lead officers to his home in the 8200 block of U.S. 30. Upon entering the home officers located 19 active “one pot” meth labs near Gatke’s three-year-old son.

Gatke was arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing methamphetamine, neglect of a dependant, possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors. Child Protective Services was immediately contacted for the placement of the toddler. His bond was set at $50,000.
