FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne doctor could be in legal trouble in Kentucky.

Federal authorities raided the office of Dr. Sundiata M. El-Amin in Dry Ridge, Kentucky Thursday afternoon.

Following an eight month investigation, authorities say the office is suspected of illegally writing prescriptions for painkillers and giving out pain medication illegally.

El-Amin tells reporters in Cincinnati that he has done nothing wrong and feels he is being targeted because he is black and a Muslim.

The doctor works out of an office in Fort Wayne on Hobson Road.
