ILLINOIS (www.incnow.tv) - Debates about gun control have raged since the shooting in Colorado and the one at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. In eastern Illinois, little league baseball organizers are holding a raffle that’s raising even more questions about guns.

The league in Atwood needs money for new equipment. In order to raise the necessary funds, leaders are holding a raffle. The grand prize is an A-R 15 Assault Rifle, a gun similar to the one the Newtown attacker had possession of. The rifle raffle will be held in June.

The winner will have to pass all background checks and go through the same process as anyone else who buys a gun.
