FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- People were still out Sunday afternoon getting ready for their Super Bowl parties and picking up those last minute items.

“Oh all kinds of snack-a-roos, we got fruit things and shrimp and chicken wings and vegetable platter,” said Linda Ellis, Shopper.

“We always find something else that we need to get or want to get because we are procrastinators,” said Lisa Volkert, Shopper.

“I'm baking lasagna and I'm getting a few extra things to go with it,” said George, Shopper.

But it was no easy shopping trip for these shoppers in the Summit City Sunday.

“Oh God, it's awful, it's awful. I mean we came early too and we've been in there for so long and it's like so many people, and I have to go in one of those cart things and you can't maneuver because there are 20 million of them in there. But you know, you do what you gotta do,” said Ellis.

Kickoff for the Super Bowl is at 6:29 p.m. Sunday on Indiana’s NewsCenter on NBC 33.
