Indianapolis (www.incnow.tv) - The Mayor of Indianapolis announced Wednesday morning that the city will begin to replace its entire fleet of vehicles with electric and plug-in hybrids by the year 2025.

Mayor Greg Ballard said the new vehicles will be purchased as the older vehicles are retired.

He is even asking automakers to develop a plug-in hybrid police can use as patrol cars.
