Indianapolis Man Arrested After Girlfriend's Body Pulled From White River

Indianapolis, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- An Indianapolis man was arrested shortly after the body of his girlfriend was pulled from the White River in Broad Ripple.

25-year old James Peterson is charged with battery and resisting law enforcement, among other things as police pulled the body of the woman out.

Witnesses say Peterson told them that he and his girlfriend were skinny dipping in the river when she began to struggle and tried to pull him under.
