BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Indiana University to raise tuition for upcoming school years.
Indiana University President Michael McRobbie is recommending tuition and fee increases of 1.75 percent for Indiana residents in each of the next two years at the school's Bloomington campus.
University officials say the proposed tuition increase is the lowest since the late 1970s. It would raise tuition from $ 10,033 to $10,209 for the next academic year. Then it would rise again to $10,388 for the following year.
For out-of-state students, tuition and fees would increase 2.75 percent each year.
The IU board of trustees will hold a public meeting on the recommendations at the IUPUI Campus Center in Indianapolis on June 5.
