INDIANAPOLIS (www.incnow.tv) – The State has a new Tourism Director and one of the major obstacles he’s facing is a lack of funding.
While neighboring states’ tourism bureaus are working with a lot more cash, the Indiana Office of Tourism development is working with less than $2 million.
Michigan spends $27 million on it's Pure Michigan campaign, and Illinois spends more than twice that.
The agency's director says the lack of money has him looking at creative ways to promote the Hoosier state.
