HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) --Huntington Common Council rejected an ordinance that would have abolished the Huntington Board of Parks and Recreation by creating a park advisory council.

The vote? Six to one. In the past two years, park board leaders had to make several cuts to their budget.
