Horse Owners Encouraged To Vaccinate Against West Nile Virus

(Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Indiana State Board of Animal Health is encouraging horse owners to have their animals vaccinated against the West Nile Virus.

One official says three horses have died this year from West Nile, but those are just the confirmed cases.

Chances of survival are better if the horse is treated as soon as symptoms like dizziness and disorientation show up.
