Hometown Hero Salute Planned

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- A big celebration is planned at the 122nd fighter wing in Fort Wayne, Saturday.

Leaders will host the second Hometown Heroes Salute Ceremony to honor airmen and their families for their contributions to the air force and national guard.

Airmen and their spouses will receive special recognition for the time they've devoted to the war on terror.

The ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 Saturday at the fighter wing base.
