Hit And Run Leaves Moped Driver In Hospital

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Police are investigating a hit and run accident that left a moped driver in the hospital.

Police were called to the intersection of McKinnie Avenue and Calhoun Street in response to a two vehicle crash involving a car and a moped.

Initial reports indicate the car fled the scene.

Witnesses claim it was a silver Pontiac Bonneville. Reports say the moped victim was listed in fair condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
