FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- Fort Wayne police are investigating an attempted bank robbery early Thursday morning.

Police say an employee of the Grabill Bank branch on Merchandise Drive was approached from behind by a man who forced him inside the bank just before 7 a.m. and demanded money.

The employee told police he believed there were possibly two suspects involved.

When they were unable to get any money, they ran off.
