FLORIDA (www.incnow.tv) - Florida Democrat, Bill Nelson, has declared his support for gay marriage.

That’s according to a report from the Tampa Bay Times. Nelson becomes a key piece in the marriage equality battle. He is the 51st senator to support the cause, which gives proponents a majority in the chamber.

Only six democrats in the senate remain opposed to gay marriage, including Indiana’s Joe Donnelly. Meanwhile only two republicans have come out in favor of equality.
