Flag Football Kicked Off; Invites Kids To Stay Active

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The official kick off for the NFL Flag Football League took place this weekend at the Plex with around 1,000 people in attendance.

Players range from 4yrs old to 14yrs old.

The national program encourages kids to stay active and emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship.

Director of football, Otiga Ogubi, says "It gives kids a chance to play sports in an inviting fun environment."

Games are all weekend long through the end of the season playoffs will be on October 6th.
