FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Children in need in northeast Indiana may soon have a coat on their shoulders.
The 12th annual Coats for Kids drive wrapped up this weekend. Sunday was the last day to donate new and gently used children’s coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.
Organizers are currently in the process of counting and sorting the garments. They fear the drive may have fallen a few hundred coats short of the 4,500 goal, but we'll let you know how it turned out later this week.
