WHITELY COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -A section of State Road 14 in Kosciusko County was dedicated to Indiana State Trooper Jason Beal.

Beal was killed in the year 2000 as he assisted a wrecker when the driver of another vehicle lost control hitting and killing him.

On Wednesday a special sign was erected indicating a three mile stretch of State Road 14 between State Road 13 and Whitely County Line as being the Jason E. Beal Memorial Highway.
