FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – College-bound students are getting help filing for student aid as part of College Goal Sunday.
On Sunday, Neff Hall on IPFW’s campus was just one of 38 locations in Indiana taking part in the event.
The free program helps students file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA is required for federal and state grants, loans, and scholarships at most colleges nationwide.
The application must be filed by March 10, 2014 in order for a student to be eligible for state aid.
Now in its 25th year, College Goal Sunday has helped more than 90,000 Indiana students and families complete the FAFSA properly and on time, opening the door to financial aid for college.
