FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – It was a big weekend for Hoosiers – and Excise Police.

Officers issued nearly 200 citations at Indiana University’s annual Little 500 event. Two citations went to IU basketball players Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell and Stanford Robinson.

A majority of the citations were for underage drinking.

Most of the people who were arrested on alcohol-related charges were issued a summons and release at the time.

Everyone was required to appear in a Monroe County court at 8:30 Sunday morning, but Ferrell and Robinson hired an attorney and did not show up.

Excise police also cited 38 people during Purdue University’s Grand Prix event, again, mostly for underage drinking.
