TULSA, Okla. (www.incnow.tv) – An extremely unusual situation at an Oklahoma dentist’s office has health officials asking dental patients to undergo testing for hepatitis and HIV.

Letters recommending testing have been sent to 7,000 patients of Dr. Scott Harrington of Tulsa. A compliant against Harrington led investigators to discover safety issues at his dental practice, including a unit for sterilizing equipment which wasn't working properly.

Harrington has voluntarily closed his office while the investigation continues.
