FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources wants to get you hooked on fishing, by stocking local ponds with fish.

Our partner in news, The Journal Gazette reports that the Department of Natural Resources will stock 11 urban lakes and ponds around Indiana with about 1,000 large catfish.

This will be the second round of catfish stockings under the DNR’s new "Go Fishin' in the City" program, which encourages people to go fishing in urban areas.

The ponds being stocked are here in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Terre Haute among others.
