DEFIANCE COUNTY, Ohio (21Alive) – An Ohio man is dead and two others injured after a crash in Defiance County. Police say no one in the car was wearing seatbelts and they believe alcohol was a factor.

Police say Jarad Sharp, 26, of Sherwood, Ohio was driving southbound on Coy Road just south of Bradshaw Road.

Police say Sharp lost control of the car when the road changed from pavement to gravel. He drove off the road and the car overturned into a ditch.

Sharp was ejected from the car and died at the scene. The two passengers in the car had minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital.
