Allen County, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The coats have been collected and it's time for delivery.

The 21Alive Coats for Kids program was geared to ensure every child in the area has a coat, hat and gloves to keep them warm this winter.

Members of the Fort Wayne Fire Department delivered all of the remaining coats to the warehouse Tuesday morning.

And on Wednesday students at the Martin Luther King Montessori School received their coats, which organizers say was a big deal.

Executive Director for the MLK Montessori School, Greta Mckinney said, “It is huge. It's very huge. So close to Christmas, the weather is about to get bad, and like I said the kids having the opportunity to have a brand new coat is huge!"

But the collection process is still not complete.

Organizers are still looking for donations of 50 more coats.
