Casting Call For Going Red For Women Spokesperson

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- Going red for heart health and awareness.

A casting call Wednesday at the Parkview Women's Health Center, for a local or national Go Red for Women spokesperson.

Dozens of women shared how heart disease has affected them.

“I think there are too many women that have no idea how heart disease can affect them,” says Suzan Moriarty of Fort Wayne, “My mother was a tiny, very healthy, active woman, who would have never dreamt that what was going on was a heart attack.”

Warning signs for women are chest or upper body discomfort. Also, shortness of breath, breaking out in a cold sweat, an upset stomach, or light-headedness.
