FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Thousands of dead Ash trees await removal along Fort Wayne city streets.
Now city leaders are offering cash to homeowners to remove the trees themselves. Parks and recreation officials announced the reimbursement plan Wednesday. The trees must sit on the city property; and only licensed and bonded tree removers can be hired.
The city will pay up to 40% of the cost.
