FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Today is the final day for the Three Rivers Festival here in the Summit City.

On Saturday morning, racers took to the water in their custom built rafts capping off the downtown festival.

The race began at Swinney Park on the St. Mary's River as dozens of contestants raced to the finish line at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Bridge.

Over $14,000 were given away in cash prizes this year. With that much prize money given away, organizers say they made sure the money was evenly distributed.

Tonight, the grand finale for the festival will end with a bang.

The fireworks show is set to begin at One Summit Square downtown around 10 p.m.

As for the weather? No worries, no rain is expected in the area.
