INDIANAPOLIS/EVANSVILLE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Excise officers arrested a total of 38 people at two different concerts in Indiana this weekend, as well as 65 for underage drinking.
On Friday night, excise officers arrested 14 people at the Florida Georgia Line concert at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Ten of the 14 people arrested were minors, including a minor less than 18 years old. Two adults were cited for providing alcohol for minors.
On Saturday night, excise officers arrested another 24 people at the Florida Georgia Line concert held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Nineteen minors were arrested and charged with underage possession or consumption. One of minors was less than 18 years old. Two of them were also cited for being in the possession of false identification. Five adults were cited for providing alcohol to minors.
Bankers Life Filedhouse was also cited on a preliminary charge of selling alcohol to a minor after officers saw a bartender sell alcohol to a 19-year-old man without checking identification.
On Saturday night, Excise Police arrested 65 people for underage drinking at a house party in Evansville.
Evansville/Vanderbaugh County police got a call complaining about a large number vehicles parked along the 2700 block of Allens Lane.
When police arrived to the house party, they found 65 minors had been drinking alcohol inside the home and garage. All but one were issued summonses, and one 19-year old man was jailed for illegal consumption and resisting law enforcement.
Two of those cited for underage drinking were residents.
Four of the 65 were less than 18-years old. They were ticketed and released to their parents.
