INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Animal Care and Control officers in Indianapolis confiscated 300 animals during a pet shop raid.

The raid stems from an inspection of Fish Bowl Pet Supplies last week where officers found hundred of dead animals like lizards and fish, along with dirty tanks and cages.

The owner was issued nearly 600 citations and several days to clean up and when he didn't, officers came back with warrants. Among the 300 animals confiscated were alligators and scorpions. They can not be adopted until a judge says it's okay and the pet store is not allowed to sell pets for the time being.
