Man Tries To Escape Police By Swimming Across The River

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- 32-year old Jeremy Bolenbaugh of Fort Wayne faces criminal charges after Indiana State Police say he led officers on a short pursuit.

He bolted from his vehicle after the chase early Monday morning and tried to make his get-away by swimming across the St. Joe River.

Bolenbaugh has been charged with resisting law enforcement, possession of synthetic marijuana and being an habitual traffic violator.
