DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - A Fort Wayne man has sustained serious injuries after crashing into another vehicle early Sunday.

The accident occured at Seamist Place off of CR 31. Jeremy Adang, 35, of Fort Wayne was airlifted by Samaritan helicopter after he went off the West side of the road and struck another vehicle which was parked in a driveway just off the intersection.

Police say they attempted to stop Adang for suspicion of an intoxicated driver. Adang continued to increase his speed on the gravel road. Once his car went off the side of the road, he collided into a parked vehicle. The impact rotated and rolled Adang's car through the intersection, ejecting him from the vehicle.

Officials say Adang suffered multiple head lacerations, abrasions, and fractures to both his neck and back.

Any arrest or citations against Adang is still pending.
