TAMPA, Fla. (www.incnow.tv)- Retired U.S. Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf died Thursday at age 78.
Schwarzkopf, known as "Stormin' Norman” due to his outrageous explosive temper. He previously served as commander of U.S Central Command.
Schwarzkopf headed a U.S.-led coalition in Operation: Desert Storm, military action in the Persian Gulf in 1991 that forced Saddam Hussein and Iraqi forces out of Kuwait.
Schwarzkopf returned from Persian Gulf a hero. President George H. W. Bush presented Schwarzkopf with the Medal of Freedom for loyalty and service to the United States.
President Bush Issued a Statement Calling General Schwarzkopf “A True
American Patriot and One of the Great Military Leaders of his Generation."
He Passed Away Where He Lived In Retirement. There was no Word Regarding His Death at this Time. Schwarzkopf was 78 Years Old.
