BAKERSFIELD, Ca. (www.incnow.tv) - New details in the case of an elderly Californian woman who died after staff at an independent living facility refused to perform CPR.

The Bakersfield Police department found no criminal wrong doing by Glenwood Gardens the facility where 87-year-old Lorraine Bayless was a resident. Even though staff called 911 for an ambulance when Bayless collapsed they refused to perform CPR when asked by the dispatcher.

The executive director of the facility said it is against policy for staff to attempt CPR and the family of Lorraine Bayless is satisfied with that policy.
