TENNESSEE (21Alive) -- Tennessee's federally funded health insurance co-op, the Community Health Alliance, is offering smartphones to entice Obamacare shoppers, according to the Memphis Business Journal.
Not only will qualifying applicants receive health insurance coverage when they sign up with the co-op, they will also get an LG Lucid 2 4G Smartphone complete with a data plan and tech support.
To qualify for the phone, members will have to see a doctor and take a pledge to take better care of themselves. Then the phone will be shipped to them within two weeks and comes preloaded with their selected doctors' phone numbers.
Community Health Alliance was created as a part of Affordable Care Act and received $73 million in federal money to create the co-op.
