WASHINGTON, DC. (www.incnow.tv) - It was a rare sight on the Senate floor in Washington, an old fashioned filibuster.

Republican Kentucky Senator Rand Paul held the floor of the U.S. Senate for more than 12 hours. Senator Paul said he would block President Obama’s nominee, John Brennan, until he had more information on the U.S. Drone Strike program an issue that has drawn criticism from both sides of the aisle.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio and fellow Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell were there in holding the floor until shortly before 12:45 Thursday morning.
