New York City Commuter Train Derails: 4 Dead (VIDEO)

NEW YORK (21Alive) -- Early this morning a New York City commuter train derailed, killing at least four people.

According to ABC News, Officials say there are more than 60 other people injured after the Metro-North train derailed in the Bronx borough of New York City around 9 a.m. this morning.

NYFD officials have confirmed four fatalities and that the number of injured will likely rise. WABC-TV has reported that eleven people are in critical condition at area hospitals.

A senior state department official told ABC News that the derailment has no indication of terrorist or criminal conduct. An investigation team will be sent to the scene according to the The National Transportation Safety Board.
