PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (www.incnow.tv) - The National Football League is in court on Tuesday.
A federal judge in Philadelphia will hear arguments from the league’s attorneys. They are asking for some 4,200 lawsuits from former players to be thrown out. Lawyers for the players accuse the NFL of promoting violence in the game and concealing known cognitive risks from concussions and other blows to the head.
Some of those players suffer from dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, and other neurological problems.
